After spending over 20 years in corporate marketing, I made a drastic career change into professional and executive coaching. For several years, I led and executed marketing strategies to drive revenue amongst various product and service portfolios for global technology companies.

My professional growth and path to confidence were all trial and error. I did not have a coach or a formal mentor. It took a while for me to understand my strengths, value, and professional identity. But I was always very introspective, observant, and continuously working to self-improve.

I was interested in psychology and was attentive to organizational dynamics. I’ve never felt tied to a single career for life and have always known that my strengths could have a significant impact beyond corporate marketing.

In 2012, when I reached a point where I couldn’t see where I would go next in my organization, I explored coaching, obtained the International Coach Federation certification, and launched Epiphany Coaching, LLC. It was the most intentional career move I’ve made.

​

My mission at Epiphany Coaching is for corporate professionals to become more empowered in their personal and professional lives. In my coaching career, I have found that confidence, or a lack thereof, is the underlying factor in most career challenges. This challenge isn’t typically about overall self-confidence. Confidence is situational and tends to spike and drop over time. It’s consistently lower when we are working outside of our strengths. But an extremely confident professional can suddenly be consumed with self-doubt upon entering a new role, especially when advancing up the leadership chain.

These challenges can exist for men or women. But it appears to be more prominent among women, or possibly women are more open about their experiences. So, I’ve set out to empower emerging women leaders to lead with greater confidence, intention, and impact.
